It didn't take long for Springdale to take control of the Coke Classic semifinals match up with Northside.

The Bulldogs raced to a 23-9 first quarter lead and never looked back as they posted a 64-50 win at UAFS' Stubblefield Center.

Drake Wymer led the way for Springdale as he had 12 points while Treshawn Gause added 11 and Tyler Tutt finished with 10. Northside was paced by Stephon Barron with 12 points.

Northside was able to claw within 10 points in the second half but the Grizzlies got no closer. Northside shot just 30 percent and were forced into 15 turnovers.

Springdale will face North Little Rock in the title game Saturday while Northside takes on Texarkana (TX) in the third place game.
