Arkansas Hammers High Point

Hogs win 22nd straight game at home as Panthers overpowered

A six day lay off could have been a problem for Arkansas.

Instead it turned into a disaster for High Point.

The Razorbacks extended their home win streak to 22 games with a 89-48 win at Bud Walton Arena. It is the longest winning streak at home for Arkansas since 1998.

Bobby Portis led five Razorbacks in double figures with 16 points and added nine rebounds while Moses Kingsley and Michael Qualls each added 12 off the bench. Kingsley also finished with nine rebounds.

Coty Clarke and Anthlon Bell each finished with 11 points for Arkansas while Tre Duncon led High Point with 13.

Arkansas (10-2) shot 51 percent from the field while holding the Panthers to just 37 percent and forced High Point into 25 turnovers.

The Razorbacks have just one more game, Saturday against Texas-San Antonio, before SEC play begins on January 8.
