Car Crash Sends One Person To Fayetteville Hospital
The Rogers Fire Department responded to a one vehicle roll-over crash on Interstate 540, near exit 83 on Sunday (Dec. 29).
Fire chief Tom Jenkins said the jaws of life were used to get the person out of the vehicle.
A helicopter was requested to respond, but due to the weather it could not fly, authorities said.
The driver of the vehicle that rolled over was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center, with serious injuries.
No other vehicles were involved and no one else was injured.
Southbound traffic was backed up for close to an hour as emergency crews extricated the victim.
