Bentonville: From 8 p.m. – 1 a.m. Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will hold New 365, a celebration featuring music by Leah & the Mojo Doctors and DJ Havok, dancing, food, and drinks. Purchase tickets online or at Guest Services. Tickets cost $68 for members or $85 for non-mmbers. You can also celebrate in style and combine your event tickets with a dinner and lodging package at 21c Museum Hotel, with complimentary transportation service between Crystal Bridges and the hotel from 8:15 p.m. to 1 a.m. To book your package, call Andy Yoon at 21c: 479-286-6515.

Fayetteville:Last Night Fayetteville will be held in the Fayetteville square starting at 6 p.m.  The event will spotlight local artists works from across the area and include musical performances from local bands Shawn James & The Shapeshifters, The Flipoff Pirates, SW/MM/NG, and Surf De Soleil.  There will be a comedy stage, a folk stage, kids stage, a giant puppet parade.  The world famous hog drop and fireworks display will be held at midnight. Fort Smith:

Mayor’s Countdown to 2014: Mayor Sandy Sanders will be on hand for this fun-for-all-ages event that includes a Swing & Ballrom Dance Party, toddler activity room with bounce-arounds, games and more.  Older children will be able to enjoy inflatables, lazer tag, and more.  The Fort Smith Fire Dept. Pipe and Drums and McCafferty School of Irish Dance will also perform.  Admission is free, but the entire event is carnival style with tickets and wristbands sold for various activities.  $15 buys an all-access wristband or tickets can be purchased for $1 each.  Attendees can bring two nonperishable food items and receive five free tickets.

Movie Lounge:The Movie Lounge is planning a techno dance party starting at 8 p.m.  Admission is $10 per person or $30 for VIP access in the facility’s new EPICENTER, just three doors down from the movie lounge.  A bounce-around, fun, and family-friendly fun and games will also be available in the parking lot with a ball drop and fireworks planned at midnight.

New Year’s Party at the Elks:  Dancing, food, adult beverages, and fun will be on hand at the Elks lodge on Massard Road starting at 6:30 p.m. with entertainment starting at 8 p.m.  There is a $25 per person cover charge that includes Prime Rib romantic dinner, entertainment, midnight champagne, party favors, noise makers, and a guarantee of fun.  Cover charge for entertainment only is $10 per person.  Seating is limited.  Call Debbie today for a reservation at 479-459-6461 or Jo at 479-739-6568.
