Chief Ranger Of Arkansas State Parks and Tourism Shot And Killed

ROLAND, Ark. (KTHV) – The chief ranger of Arkansas State Parks and Tourism (ASPT) was shot and killed earlier Sunday (Jan. 5).

According to Lt. Carl Minden with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s office, Jerry Digman was shot around 11:30 a.m in the 23900 block along Highway 300.

Since police are still working on learning details leading up the shooting, little information is available, but THV11 has learned that no one has been arrested as a result of the shooting.

Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators are currently at the scene, and next of kin has been notified.
