An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing Missouri six-month-old baby, who police believe was taken by a couple now on the run.
Police in Anderson, Mo., are searching for Preston Wayne Farris and Anastasia Lynn McDaniel, suspected of abducting baby Mitchell Farris from an apartment on Riverview Drive in Anderson on Jan. 2, according to the Amber Alert.
The suspects may be driving a red 2004 Ford Freestar with the Missouri license plate number UH7D2R.
The baby is a white male. Preston Farris, 34, is a white man with brown hair and blue eyes. He is five feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds, police said. McDaniel, 30, is a white woman with blue eyes, weighing 172 pounds and standing five feet, eight inches tall, according to the alert.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the baby or suspects, and anyone with information on the case, is encouraged to call 911, the nearest law enforcement agency or the Anderson Police Department, at 417-845-2681.
