The Big Lots store in Fort Smith was evacuated Friday night (Jan. 17) due to a bomb scare.
The Fort Smith Bomb Squad was called to the store on Rogers Ave. by the manager on a report of a suspicious bag left inside.
Officers X-rayed the bag and did not find an explosive.
Investigators said the items inside the bag maybe stolen.
