This fall, Jack Kraus will put on a Razorback football uniform and hit the field.
He was honored as a nominee to be named one of area’s best high school tight end players at Saturday’s All Stars Awards Banquet.
He played as a tight end at Bentonville High School.
His parent’s couldn’t be more excited to see Jack fulfill a long-time dream.
“I feel like the father of a rock-star,” said Jack’s father, Paul. “It’s a dream come true. I can’t think of a better scenario for him or selfishly for us, because he’ll be close by.”
His mother, Christine, said Jack was very excited when he committed to be Razorback.
“We’re so proud, I can’t believe it,” she said. “What an honor that is, you know, to see your son go up to the next level and I’m just so excited, because he has worked really hard.”
The family was on their official visit to the University of Arkansas this weekend (Jan. 18).
“Arkansas has a great business school, so on my visit today, I went and checked out the Sam Walton School of Business and I was really impressed,” he said. “So, I think that’s what I’m going to do.”
