Hollenbeck Seeks Re-Election As Sebastian County Sheriff

Bill Hollenbeck is seeking re-election to a third term as Sebastian County sheriff, he announced in a news release on Wednesday (Jan. 22).

After starting his police career in 1982 in Dallas, Texas, Hollenbeck joined the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office in 1990, serving in patrol and as a detective before being promoted to captain overseeing the Special Weapons and Tactics team and the Criminal Investigative Division, the news release states.

Among other accomplishments, the 32-year law enforcement veteran has increased departmental training, implemented a community-service program and developed an online sex-offender tracking system, the release states.
