Auburn falling on the schedule was exactly what Arkansas needed.
The Razorbacks jumped out to a double digit halftime lead and rolled to an 86-67 win at Bud Walton Arena.
Rashad Madden scored a game high 24 points to lead Arkansas while Bobby Portis added 18 points, 14 of which came in the first half, and added a game high nine rebounds.
Arkansas (13-6, 2-4 SEC) scored the first eight points of the game but struggled from the field for most of the first half. The Razorbacks quickly turned things around midway through the first period and opened up a 36-25 lead at the half.
Chris Denson led Auburn with 18 points on just 3-of-15 shooting while KT Harrell added 17 points while Tahj Shamsid-Deen finished with 12.
The win ends a two game skid for the Razorbacks but Auburn continues to struggle in league play. The Tigers are now just 1-22 in their last 23 SEC games.
