Tip Line Established for Muldrow ATV Accident

Residents of the Muldrow, Oklahoma area now have a tip line established for the ongoing investigation in the Christian Mayberry ATV case.

Brian J. Kuester, District Attorney for District 27, Adair, Cherokee, Sequoyah and Wagoner Counties announced the tip line via a press release on Wednesday, January 29, 2014.

According to the release, “Investigators are seeking any and all information about the ATV accident and Christian Mayberry’s injuries on September 1, 2013. . ..”

The person involved in the ATV accident, Christian Mayberry (age 16), was reported to be in serious condition after his crash. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Officers said he was not wearing a helmet at the time.

He was transported by Pafford EMS to Sparks Hospital in Ft. Smith, then airlifted by Life-Flight to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa.

According to the police report from the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Department, he was driving southbound on County Road 4750, five miles south of Muldrow when he ran off the road into a ditch. He was ejected 12 feet from his Polaris Ranger ATV.
