Yet another system is going to move into the area on Tuesday with more chances for wintry precipitation.

Light freezing drizzle will be possible overnight with a mixture of freezing rain, sleet, and snow possible by morning. The precipitation should continue into the early afternoon before changing over to all snow in NWA. It may actual change back to all rain in the River Valley depending on the temperatures at the surface. Current thinking is that the temperatures may be a few degrees colder due to existing snow pack.

Highest ice chances will be in North Central Arkansas. Ice accumulations expected around .10″ of an inch. Generally (but not always) power outages require more ice, closer to .25″ or .50″

There is about 1/2 an inch of moisture available that will have to be divided up between rain, sleet, freezing rain, and snow. Heaviest snow should be in N Oklahoma.
