Today, the Fort Smith Police Department received information that a wanted felon, Emmanual L. Davis (pictured to the right), may have been in the city, according to Sgt. Daniel Grubbs of the Fort Smith Police Department.
Davis was wanted on a parole violation warrant, as well as, two counts of aggravated assault from Crittenden County.
He was believed to be armed and dangerous.
Information eventually led the police to a residence in the 2600 block of N. 37th St. Acting on that information, members of the Fort Smith SWAT entered the residence and took Davis into custody.
A large amount of cocaine was seized during his arrest.
Davis is currently being held at the Sebastian County Detention Centy on the following charges:
Possession of Cocaine with the Purpose to Deliver
*Parole Violation (No Bond)
Felony – Failure to Appear warrant out of Sebastian County
Felony – Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence warrant out of Sebastian County
Misdemeanor – Contempt of Court warrant out of Sebastian County
*Two (2) counts of Aggravated Assault out of Crittenden County (No Bond).
