A train and dump truck collided early Thursday (Feb. 13) in Rogers at a railroad crossing where there are no crossing barriers, signals or lights, officials said.
Crews responded to the accident at North Hudson Road and North Arkansas Street at about 10 a.m., officials said.
The truck attempted to cross the railroad tracks when the train clipped its front end, officials said. The dump truck hit a pick-up truck head-on.
The truck driver told authorities he bumped his head in the accident but declined medical treatment, officials said. There were no other reported injuries.
The driver will likely be cited for failure to yield to a train.
