Coty Clarke didn’t score in the first half for Arkansas against LSU.

But the Razorbacks’ forward dominated the second half as Arkansas posted an 81-70 win at Bud Walton Arena.

Clarke scored 16 points after intermission to help Arkansas pull away late in the second half. Rashad Madden scored a game high 21 points for Arkansas while Bobby Portis and Michael Qualls combined for 28 points.

Arkansas improved to 5-7 in the SEC and kept their slim hopes alive at reaching the NCAA tournament. The Razorbacks host South Carolina on Wednesday.

Jimmy O’Bryant III led LSU with 20 points and 16 rebounds but fouled out in the closing minutes.
