Fire crews responded Monday afternoon to a grass fire in northwestern Fayetteville, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department. The fire has since been contained.

Crews responded around 3 p.m. to Wildcat Creek Boulevard, near Tontitown, where about three acres of grass and brush caught fire. Initial calls said a home was threatened, although no structure caught on fire, according to the fire department.

A tanker responded to the scene, and crews assessed the situation. The fire was under control before 4 p.m., and responding crews left the scene. No injuries were reported.
