The Washington Regional and Walker Heart Institute are bringing “Day of Dance for Your Health” for the fifth year, according to a news release from the Walker Heart Institute.
Community dance groups will perform different dance styles with the goal of introducing participants to a fun way of preventing heart disease.
“Healthcare providers, clinics and community organizations will provide health education and screenings throughout the event, which is free and open to the public,” the release state.
More than 75,000 people in 75 communities across the United States are expected to participate in Day of Dance events this month.
The event will take place at the Northwest Arkansas Mall center court on Saturday (Feb. 22) from 10 am to 1 pm.
