Fayetteville police responded early Monday night to the Walmart store on Martin Luther King Boulevard in reference to a bomb threat made at the store, according to police.

Someone wrote the words “bomb threat” on a stall wall in a restroom inside the Walmart, said Sgt. Craig Stout with the Fayetteville Police Department.

Police were called before 6 p.m. to the location. The store was not evacuated because Walmart and police determined the threat was not credible, a Walmart official told 5NEWS.
