Rifle Suspect

Derek Eisman, 26, from Alma, was arrested in connection with a rifle theft from River Valley Pawn, according to Lieutenant Jayson Peppas with the Alma Police Department.

During the course of the arrest, the stolen weapon was recovered.

Eisman was just released from prison earlier this month and is on active parole, according to Peppas.

Arkansas State Parole Agents, Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, Drug Task Force Agents and the Arkansas State Police Special Agents assisted Alma Police with the search for Eisman, as well as the arrest at the Eisman residence at 34 Rudy Rd in Alma.

“Eisman faces multiple charges including theft and felon in possession of a firearm. Another parolee at the scene was arrested for parole violations and warrants from Logan County,” Peppas said in a news release put out today.

This is one reason the prison system is over loaded. I’m sure this one is even a worse offender then when he went in the first time(s)

Its so sad how you can pass judgement without even knowing. why don’t we we show him giving the gun back with a fight and him admitting he dobe wrong. its not as he stole the gun to shoot someone with it.
