More than 450 students in schools from fifteen counties in northwest Arkansas will compete in the Northwest Arkansas Regional Science and Engineering Fair, according to a news release put out today.

The students will range from 5th to 12th grade.

“University of Arkansas faculty and graduate students will serve as judges for the fair coordinated by Lynne Hehr, director of the university’s Center for Mathematics and Science Education,” the news release stated.

It will take place from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm on Friday (Feb. 28) in the Arkansas Union Ballroom.

University of Arkansas faculty and graduate students will serve as judges for the fair.

Overall Senior Division NWARSEF Winners and their teachers shall be sponsored to the International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, Calif, in May.
