The Fayetteville Police Deparment is looking for two men they said broke into an apartment at the Crossover Terrace complex. Sgt. Craig Stout said they hit one person with a bat and stole money as well as a television.

Police only have the description of one of the suspects. Stout said he's a white male, about six feet tall and 180 pounds.

Police said two men with covered faces forced their way inside 2867 Gordon Long Drive Apt. 9 Thursday (Feb. 27) close to 1 a.m.

One suspect hit the man who lives at the apartments with a baseball bat but the man didn't want medical treatment, Stout said.

"We do have a person of interest," Stout said. "We have strong reasons to believe that this was possibly drug related and that the suspects and the victim had knowledge of each other."

If you have any information you are asked to call the Northwest Arkansas Crimestoppers at 790-TIPS.
