The Walton Arts Center has announced the 2014-2015 Broadway season, according to a news release put out today.

“We know that Broadway shows are extraordinary experiences for audiences to share with their family and friends,” says Jenni Taylor Swain, VP of Programming.

“We strive to bring the newest, most interesting and entertaining shows to Northwest Arkansas, many on their first national tours,” she said.

“Nice Work captures the essence of 1920s-era Broadway with music by Gershwin, while the stunning stage effects of Slava’s Snowshow is a gentler, poetic spectacular that anticipated shows like Blue Man Group; Camelot is the classic story of King Arthur made current with connections to popular culture while Joseph brings a beloved Bible story to life; Once, still celebrated on Broadway, reminds me of music on Dickson Street. It offers imaginative staging that puts the audience inches away from the performance. I’m certain that our patrons will enjoy this eclectic blend of culture and entertainment this new season,” she continued.

The schedule will feature Nice Work If You CAn Get It from Oct. 21-26, Slava’s Snowshow from Jan. 20-25 2015, Camelot from Feb. 17-22, 2015, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat from March 10-15, 2015 and Once from April 29-May 3, 2015.
