Although ice is possible across much of the area, the highest totals of over .10″ or greater are expected across SE Oklahoma and West Central Arkansas. This will be enough ice for power outages.
In Northwest Arkansas there will be a longer period of sleet as opposed to freezing rain. Freezing rain in SE Oklahoma and West Central Arkansas could top .30″ in isolated areas.
Expect power outages and slick and hazardous road conditions into Monday.
On the back side of the system, snow will move across the area on Sunday night leading to additional accumulations of up to an inch.
