A man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries Thursday night following a two-vehicle crash near Interstate 540 in Fayetteville.
Emergency crews responded just before 8 p.m. near where the highway intersects with Wedington Drive in response to the wreck. The crash slowed traffic in the area, during which a man was loaded onto a stretcher and placed in the back of an ambulance, an eyewitness told 5NEWS.
The man suffered “serious”, but unspecified, injuries, according to responders. No one else was hurt in the crash.
