Fayetteville residents that enjoy beer and crawfish will have a chance to celebrate their love for both on March 29 from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Town Center in Fayetteville, according to a news release put out today.

The first ever “Ales & Tails Festival” will feature local and regional craft breweries and Louisiana crawfish. It is being coordinated by the owners of local restaurants Jammin Java and Cafe Rue Orleans.

“Mud Bug Garden” tickets will be $25 each, and ticket holders will receive a wristband to claim a pound of boiled crawfish, beer samples and a souvenir pilsner glass.

Additional boiled crawfish may be purchased for $10 a pound.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the local ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) Association Northwest Arkansas Chapter.
