Suspect Arrested In Fayetteville Armed Robbery

Police are still searching for one of three suspects involved in an armed robbery Thursday at a Fayetteville apartment complex.

Police arrested Julio Gonzales, 35, late Thursday night on suspicion of aggravated robbery, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

The robbery victim told police Gonzales and two others drove up to him as he was walking through Lakeside Village Apartments in Fayetteville. One of Gonzales’ passenger pulled a gun and then robbed the victim, possibly making off with a cell phone, according to police.

The victim told police the gunman was a black man, and Gonzales was the driver. The victim said there was also a woman in the passenger seat of the car, possibly named Stormy Lane.

A woman named Stormy Lane was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on Friday afternoon on suspicion of parole violation. Police are still searching for Joseph Derrick Coker, 27, in connection with the armed robbery.
