A Huntsville man is dead after a train accident in Grant County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The man was identified as Cort Houston Daugherty, 24, and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Daugherty was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Pickup heading west, and the train involved was heading north. Daugherty failed to yield to the oncoming train and was struck.
He was pinned for approximately 5 hours.
The condition of the driver at the time of the incident is unknown at this time and is still under investigation.
