People in Pea Ridge can drink water without boiling it once more as a boil order was lifted on Tuesday (March 11).

Students will once again be able to use water fountains that they were unable to use on Monday, officials said.

The city was placed under a precautionary boil order Saturday (March 8) because of damage to a main water pipe.

The school district subsequently announced that students wouldn’t have access to water fountains on Monday (March 10) because of the boil order.

Now that the order has been lifted, the fountains are available for use once more, officials said.
