Crystal Bridges to Feature Paley’s Private Collection

The private art collection of late CBS Executive William S. Paley will soon be on display at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville.

The private art collection of late CBS Executive William S. Paley will soon be on display at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville.

The exhibition will be open to the public beginning Saturday (March 15) and remain open until July 7.

The display is called the William S. Paley Collection: A Taste for Modernism. The collection features artists like Henry Matisse and Pablo Picasso. It includes more than 60 works of art from painting and drawings to sculptures. The exhibition is on loan from the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Paley died in 1990 at the age of 89. He left his entire collection to the Museum of Modern Art.

Admission for the display is $8 for adults, but the collection is free to museum members and those 18 or younger.
