A new interim CEO for Sparks Health System and Summit Medical Center has been appointed, according to a statement from Donna Bragg, Market Director of Marketing and Communications.
Tim Schmidt has been appointed, effective March 20.
While the search for a permanent CEO candidate takes place, Schmidt will provide support to physicians and employees as they work to provide care to patients, according to the statement.
Schmidt has more than 20 years of hospital administration experience and has served as CEO of hospitals in Texas, Illinois and New Mexico.
