He was identified as Joe Kolar, 67, of Stigler, and he was driving a 2003 Ford Expedition, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Kolar was driving northbound on Oklahoma State Highway 71 when, for unknown reasons, he ran off the right side of the road and down into a ditch.

He struck a dirt embankment, causing his vehicle to roll once, throwing him out of the driver’s window.
