A pair of losses in their final two games helped push the streak to six years of Arkansas missing out on the NCAA tournament.

The Razorbacks dropped games to Alabama and South Carolina, a combined 27-39, over their final two games.

Arkansas was selected for the NIT and will be a No. 3 seed in the tournament that begins on Tuesday. The Razorbacks will host Indiana State Tues. at Bud Walton Arena at 8 p.m.

Florida was named as the top overall seed in the NCAA tournament after winning both the regular season and SEC tournament titles. The Gators are in the South Regional along with No. 2 seed Kansas and No. 3 seed Syracuse. Tulsa is also in the South Regional.

The Gators, Arizona, Wichita State and Virginia picked up the four No. 1 seeds.

Kentucky will be the No. 8 seed in the Midwest Region and could face No. 1 seed Wichita State in the second round. Tennessee picked up a spot in the play in game as they’ll face Iowa for the chance to be an 11 seed.

The SEC got just three teams into the tournament while the Big XII had the most of any conference with seven. The ACC, Big Ten and the Atlantic-10 fielded six teams into the field of 68.

Oklahoma picked up a No. 5 seed in the West Regional and will face North Dakota State in the opening round. Oklahoma State also had their ticket punched in the West Regional as the were selected as the No. 9 seed and faces Gonzaga in the opening round. The two teams from the Sooner State could meet in the sweet 16.
