Walmart To Go Open for Business in Bentonville

Walmart’s new convenience store, Walmart To Go, had its grand opening at 8:00 a.m. this morning(March 19) in Bentonville.

According to a news release, the store is part of a test concept to provide customers with the quick convenience of a gas station, and the necessities of a grocery store.

Walmart To Go is also teaming up with Bentonville Butcher and Deli, to operate a deli counter in the store.

“Fast is being fast,” said store Manager Kelly Williams, “We want to get the customer in and out as fast as we can, so they can come in and get that can of soup, or frozen vegetables that they need. Just come in real quick and get it and get out.”

Walmart To Go is located at 1300 S. Walton Blvd.

In a word: Monopoly. When will the compartmentalized & conditioned sheep get it? Parlay your money across the spectrum of diverse commerce so that we don’t end up with one “super monopolized retail conglomerate”. Oh wait, we already have that. Folks, it’s bad enough we don’t have a choice with only three grocery retailers in the Walton territories now. Don’t get in a habit of giving them all your money.

Do you think the next guy is any better! I wish people that made comments about Wal-Mart knew a little more about them. There is a lot of people that have a job because of them.
