Rogers police are searching for a sex offender they say is a “high community risk”.
Police notified the public that Luke Williamson, 21, was missing earlier this month, but has just determined the man’s status as a Level 3 sex offender.
Level 3 sex offenders are “considered high community risk” and “are individuals with histories of repeat sexual offending and/or strong antisocial violent or predatory personality characteristics,” according to a statement released Thursday by the Rogers Police Department.
Williamson has a warrant out for his arrest on suspicion of failing to properly register as a sex offender. He is five feet, seven inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair, police said.
