Students from schools across Arkansas are on Spring Break.
The Jones Center in Springdale has been planning for what is going to be a busy week. CEO and President Ed Clifford said the Center is scheduling some of the more special events later in the week because some students are making up snow days during their Spring Break.
"This year is kind of odd because some of the schools have classes during Spring Break, so we will see kind of a unique traffic pattern, I think," said Clifford.
Springdale students will not be starting their break until Wednesday.
Children can get into The Jones Center to skate, swim and use the gym for $3 from March 24th to the 28th. The Center will also have extended hours from noon until 8 p.m. on those days.
"We have a lot of things going on that are special and the children and their families show up because it is a fun place to be and there is not a lot of formality," said Weekend Supervisor, Dick Hovey, "You can just show up and enjoy yourself."
