Gary and Tina Udouj from the Developmental Wings non-profit organization are here to discuss their upcoming events.
Next on the calendar is the Super Heroes for Autism 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run! Come out and dress up as your favorite super hero for a great cause on April 5, 2014 at Chaffee Crossing. Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. and the race will start at 8:00 a.m.
Early Registration is available now through March 24th and guarantees a t-shirt for each participant. Late registration is available Mar 24th through April 4th.
After the race, they have an event called "Autism Rocks!" for those 21 and older, to be held at Webby D's in Fort Smith.
Developmental Wings is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the lives of children with autism and other developmental disabilities. The volunteers at Developmental Wings take the kids on adventures in horseback riding, music and speech therapy, education, and so much more - at little or no cost to the parent.
