The Charleston precautionary boil order has been lifted, according to the Charleston Mayor’s Office.

Charleston was originally placed under a precautionary boil order on Wednesday (March 19).

The town had a water main break and a loss of pressure, so, just to be safe, the precautionary boil order was put in place.
