Bella Vista was named one of the Top 10 Best Places in Arkansas, according to the Movoto Real Estate Blog.
“The recreation community, which ranked No. 4 on the list, was recognized for its high quality of life, low crime, comfortable weather and natural beauty,” a news release on Tuesday states.
Movoto reportedly chose cities with populations greater than 10,000. In Arkansas, there are 36 cities that meet this qualification, according to the news release.
The cities are evaluated on criteria designed to determine how great they are, using data from the U.S. Census Bureau and business listings, according to Movoto.
Criteria included total amenities, quality of life, crime, tax rates, unemployment, commute time and weather.
Other northwest Arkansas locales to make the cut were: Bentonville, Fayetteville, Rogers, Siloam Springs and Springdale, according to the release.
