KTHV – Wakarusa Music Festival is teaming up with several national and local non-profits organizations. The non-profit will have a chance to share materials and their mission on-site at Wakarusa, June 5-8, 2014 on Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, AR. Wakarusa’s BLVD To A Better World is dedicated to helping promote the vision through political, environmental, health and social activism.

This year’s non-profit partners include Conscious Alliance, a non-profit focused on feeding the hungry through organized Food Drives at music and sporting events. In addition, HeadCount, a nonpartisan organization that works with musicians to promote participation in democracy in the United States will be present. Also on site for this year’s event will be Love Hope Strength, an organization that registers marrow donors, resulting in matches from concertgoers around the world.

Along with national non-profit organizations, Wakarusa has also partnered with regional and local organizations including Native Expeditions, Mulberry River Society, Multiple Sclerosis Society-Arkansas Chapter, Feed Communities, OMNI Center, Arkansas Canoe Club and Morgan Academy Holistic Health.

Festival Director, Brett Mosiman shared “We’re excited to be teaming up with such great philanthropic organizations. Wakarusa has always been about Mother Nature, sustainability, and giving back, and these partnerships take that to the next level.”
