After complaints from Springdale drivers about buses traveling on Sunset Avenue, Joel Gardner, Executive Director of Ozark Regional Transit, has altered the bus route that previously picked up and dropped off passengers on Sunset Avenue, according to a news release Friday.
Specifically, drivers complained that it was difficult to maneuver around buses as they stopped for passengers on the congested road, according to the news release.
The route will still provide access to the area, but now, it will travel down Carley Road, 40th Street and 48th Street to avoid Sunset Avenue whenever possible.
Gardner said that all feedback from the communities Ozark Regional Transit serves are reviewed and addressed with “the common good at the forefront of all changes.”
