The Bulldogs turned five hits into four runs in the 6th inning to take control. The inning ended a stretch of 54 innings of which the Arkansas pitching staff had allowed just one run.

Arkansas jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first after a RBI single by Anderson but the Razorbacks' bats were held quiet over the final eight frames.
