Pocola voters are preparing to hit the polls for a multi-million dollar project that will bring new additions to the school district but increase property taxes.
Superintendent Monty Guthrie says he's hoping the city will approve a vote to change the face of his school district.
Voters will be asked to approve a four mill increase to fund the bonds for new additions.
These additions include: new pavement for smoother carpool lines, revamped science labs, tighter security and an events center to hold more than 1,000 people.
