A felony warrant has been issued on a man identified as a person of interest in an Adair County assault case, according to a news release Wednesday.

OSBI agents are now searching for David Tush, 37, for the assault and battery of a 35-year-old woman, according to the news release.

The assault started Friday morning and ended when he drove her to her home Saturday evening, according to the news release.

She reportedly walked to a neighbor’s house to call for help. She was flown to an Arkansas hospital Sunday but has since been released.

Tush could be driving a 2008 black Chevrolet Impala with Missouri license MD1R9W. If anyone has information on his location, please call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.

It’s possible he could be with his older brother Scotty Tush, according to the news release.
