A woman was hospitalized Thursday night after being hit by a car while she was on foot, according to emergency responders.
Emergency crews responded just after 8 p.m. to a location near the intersection of 13th Street and Walnut Street, where a woman had been struck by a Ford passenger car, according to the Rogers Fire Department.
The woman was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with moderate injuries, fire officials said.
Traffic in the area was diverted and delayed during the emergency response. No one else was hurt in the wreck, according to the fire department.
Emergency crews said weather may have been a factor in the wreck because of low-visibility from the conditions.
