Despite falling short on qualifying as a team, senior Katherine Grable and freshman Amanda Wellick, each qualified to advance to the NCAA Championships as all-around individuals.
"It's definitely going to be a huge adjustment to go with just one other girl," said Grable. "But it's something new and I'm going to try and embrace it."
"Wish the team was there behind both of us, but it's an honor to be there with Kat," said freshman Amanda Wellick. "She's just been a role model, I can continue to learn from her one more time."
