The man who was hospitalized in a Springdale mobile home fire over the weekend has died, a Springdale Fire Department representative said Monday.
Crews responded to a fire around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday night to the Midway Mobile Home Park at 1487 Midway Ave., according to the Springdale Police Department.
Firefighters came across an injured man in the fire, identified as 71-year-old Daniel Hull. He was taken to Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, but was later transported to Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Mo., where he died from his injuries, according to the fire department.
Hull’s body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy. Detectives are still investigating the case, Springdale police said.
