DeQuavious Wagner announced Tues. that he will transfer from the Arkansas basketball program at the end of the semester.

Wagner played in just eight games for the Razorbacks in the 2013-14 season while averaging just more than a point per game.

“I can’t thank coach Anderson, the entire coaching staff, my teammates and Razorback fans enough for all the support over the last two years,” Wagner said. “Things didn’t work out the way I had planned, but I’ve enjoyed my two years at Arkansas and am grateful for the opportunity.”

Wagner will have two years of eligibility remaining.

The Alexandria, La. native was 3-of-13 from the field this season for Arkansas while adding six assists.

“Dee has been the model student-athlete over his two years with our program,” said Anderson. “We wish him the best of luck in his future on the court and in life. He’ll always be a member of our Razorback family.”

Arkansas now has nine players on the roster following Wagner’s transfer and graduation.
