Former Benton County Comptroller Sarah Wilson has indicated she wants to appeal her termination, according to Benton County Judge Robert Clinard.

Clinard said he received a fax from Wilson’s attorney, and she has requested a grievance hearing.

A date for the hearing now has to be set within 14 days, but thus far, a date has not been scheduled.

Wilson was fired April 8 after being placed on leave in connection with a corruption case in which three county workers were arrested, officials said.

Clinard fired Sarah Wilson, formerly Sarah Daniels, after he lost trust in her, officials said. Wilson and Scott Stober, the former Benton County administrator who resigned after his arrest, married each other after the corruption and theft case because public, officials said.
