Booneville Revenue Office Damaged by Storm

Authorities said bricks from the side of the building crashed down onto Broadway Street.

Strong winds caused major property damage in Booneville on North Broadway Street. The State Revenue Office,  pediatric clinic and Crowley City Services.

The roof of the revenue office and the clinic collapsed and scattered onto the road Sunday night (April 13). Authorities blocked off that area overnight.

According to the Logan County Sheriff's Office, bricks from the second floor crashed down onto Broadway Street.

The owner of Crowley City Services, Mike Crowley, said, the damage to his business was caused by debris from nearby businesses.

"Basically it just took the roof of the revenue office and the doctor's office and just brought it across the street and put it inside my building," Crowley said. "We got down here, we got it all boarded up and got it back open this morning."

No one was injured.
