April 15th marks Tax Day, a day dreaded by many and rushed for some. In honor of the deadline, here are a few odd facts gathered by the Huffington Post about taxes.

Tattoo Tax – In Arkansas there is a 6% sales tax on tattoos, according to Turbo Tax.

Fresh Fruit Vending Machine Tax – Fresh fruit is not taxed in in California, unless it’s sold from a vending machine, according to U.S. News and World Report.
Sliced Bagel Tax РIn New York City, bagels which  sliced or prepared are subject to sales tax, whereas whole bagels are not, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Candy Tax – Candies are subject to an extra tax in Illinois, unless they contain flour (like Whoppers).
Diaper Tax – In Connecticut, you’ll have to pay taxes on diapers for the kids, but adult diapers are exempt from sales tax.
