April 15th marks Tax Day, a day dreaded by many and rushed for some. In honor of the deadline, here are a few odd facts gathered by the Huffington Post about taxes.

Tattoo Tax – In Arkansas there is a 6% sales tax on tattoos, according to Turbo Tax.

Fresh Fruit Vending Machine Tax – Fresh fruit is not taxed in in California, unless it’s sold from a vending machine, according to U.S. News and World Report.
Sliced Bagel Tax – In New York City, bagels which  sliced or prepared are subject to sales tax, whereas whole bagels are not, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Candy Tax – Candies are subject to an extra tax in Illinois, unless they contain flour (like Whoppers).
Diaper Tax – In Connecticut, you’ll have to pay taxes on diapers for the kids, but adult diapers are exempt from sales tax.
